THE STREAM SCENE MUSIC AWARDS http://www.metaverse-tv.com/streamscene.phpOn 17th October 1pm SL time The 1st successful Stream Scene Music Awards event was held at Metaverse Island in the Mushroom Tower.The Music Awards were spectacular. The colour theme was purple , carpet coverage in a cosmic auditorium with a live audience and the event being telecasted live on Metaverse TV and broadcasted all over the web.The Stream Scene Awards was hosted by Twsd Ruggles and Kim Siefert. The hour was full of fun laughter and the winners of each category was read out and presented a trophy.SpaceJunky won Second Life most favorite band. There was a lot of the SpaceJunky Alpha Crew cheering on and supporting SpaceJunky, when won the audience went wild.The energy and ambience lit up the whole of the auditorium.The Stream Scene Music Awards is a way of saying thank you to the live musicians who take time to entertain round the grid/metaverse as voted by you the viewer, listener.It is peoples choice who decide on who the winner is for each category.Networked Musical Performance with a Virtual Environment is a big part of Second Life.Music is distributed across the globe/metaverse worlds. Several dimensions of shared acoustic space, virtual world backed sonic environment are show case. A big thank you to everyone who voted on the band as well as the Twsd Ruggles for making this sucha success and making The Stream Scene a bi weekly show featuring some very talented musicians from all over the web. SpaceJunky Island opens with a new look

On the 18th September SpaceJunky Island redesigned and re opened with a floating city made of crystals. It was a great show with one of the biggest turn outs comprising of all friends and followers of the band. All of the designers have opened up new modern stores, from Bare Rose to Solanges and BDD. The Street Scene covered the opening and a lot of different pr media people came to the opening as well and all were in awe of such an an amazing energy which could be felt here at the new sim re design.SpaceJunky performed a magical show, drawing so much energy. They even launched and performed a couple of new songs which haven’t been heard before. Shakti wore one of B@R newest designs which is exclusively available here at the Island. Purple Tennyo it is a real danski free flowing design.Crystals have some effects over our energy balance; you could feel that here at Crystal City. SpaceJunky Island replenishes the body with positive energy. When l look at the Quantum Theory it considers the universe and all things that make it existing in empty with forms of energy moving within space which includes physical body and space with energy flowing to infinite forms thru its own space . Crystal City here at SpaceJunky Island immerses that energy which vibrates thru the sim in both physical and non physical realms and the energy is purified round them.When l did further research l found crystals are made layers.1. Etheric- reflects state of the body2. Astral- emotional feeling3. Mental- thoughts4. Mental Higher –intuition5. Spiritual essence of self.The amethyst is quartz and has a purple colour due to iron and aluminum. Certain stones and crystals emit vibrations and can absorb and store energy. Some also have the ability to bend or refract light which create a rainbow effects. When you gaze into a crystal you feel a strange bliss it can attract to you ways beyond aesthetic which magnetizes spiritually and metaphysically. They synchronize the bodies’ energies with its surroundings and protect mind and body.In Second Life we live in a crystal made up of particles. SpaceJunky Concert at Metaverse TV

Metaverse TV known as Metaverse Broad Casting Company Officially opened its sim at Metaverse Island on 3rd October.The island is very Zen and has a space feel to it and was built by the extraordinary Limiere Noir.There was a day full with events from musicians to tours of this beautiful sim. I took the guided tour with Lumiere all round the island. You could feel the ambience and energy of this creative build. There was no lag and very good on prim design.The backdrop for the opening was Space Age kind of went in well with the theme of the MBC Island.Metaverse TV is ran by a group of talented individuals who have given there time and energy into MBC.It uses Virtual Worlds to reach a globe audience crossing both RL and SL entities.Metaverse is streamed live so they can communicate with there audience and recorded so viewers can access it.Live broadcasts can enhance the platforms extending thisCreative talent to all areas of the metaverse.The word metaverse originally came from the 1992 science fiction novel Snow Crash.Snow Crash uses humans as avatars and they interact with each other and soft ware agents in a 3d space that uses metaphor of real world. Binding together the greek meaning meta and universe beyond.SpaceJunky one again show cased this binding of energies into there performance. SpaceJunky's Science Fiction and Fantasie Grid Wide Hunt.
Australian band SpaceJunky is sponsoring a Grid WideTreasure Hunt. It will start on SpaceJunky Island, home to the RL band SpaceJunky! This treasure hunt is about Science Fiction and Fantasie so there will be everything from Star Wars, Dark Crystal, Labyrinths, spaceships, fairys, and anything else you can imagine!
There will be boxes hidden all over SpaceJunky Island including a SpaceJunky crystal with a special SpaceJunky song in it. Yes that's right FREE! The crystal will play the song when touched. Crystal Gypsy Designs wil have one too with a special meditation song in it composed by Shakti of SpaceJunky.

Princeton University Concert in SecondLife

On the 27th March Princeton University in Second Life was full to capacity as musician enthusiasts gathered for a SpaceJunky Concert. Princeton University is using Second Life for a platform for teaching and researching. It is also an environment forengaging learning as students can come into this Virtual World and be in a Virtual Class Room, engaging this cyber world andcollaborate activities for academics, giving these students a hands on approach.With music and this Virtual Class room it connects everyone together with educational peers active in Second life and showcases in world projects and community. We saw that when music and academics came together for one magical concert, bridging the unity of how everyone interacts into another cosmic thread in the metaverse.It made me think on Virtual Culture in the metaverse how it teaches students to navigate and engage themselves in the cyberenvironment and virtual connections, and how the universities like Princeton can bridge and engage that.I had a look round Princeton University and is a leader in showcasing experimental space for teaching, learning andexploration.Princeton University includes a confence area, museum of arts, performance and store information centre.The NMC-The New Media Consortium owns the central core of the Island.Everyone part of Princeton University were on hand to talk on the structure and demographics of Princeton and showcase there world at Princeton in Second Life.Princeton occasionally run experiments in Second Life for students, researchers and post-doctorate scholars in variousdisciplines of the social sciences. All research and experimentation is subject to strict guidelines for human research, and must be approved by an Institutional Review Panel before implementation.A group called "Princeton Research Participants" gives notice of such experiments and shares findings from past researchprojects. Some of the Alpha Crew took part in an experiment after the SpaceJunky performance. It gave the students a platform to interact with some diverse people from SpaceJunky Alpha Crew.

SpaceJunky performs at Shark Tank Club

Another great show was performed at the Shark Tank Club on 21st Feb for Dan and Sunset.
The name got me thinking of mythology it means shark. In mythology shark means ketea -sea monsters. There was a sea goddess keto, mythology has it that they had a baby shark called Skylla (the rending one).
The Shark Tank had an amazing array of energy and wonderful classy designs at the shop.
I can see this cosmic energy here and how it is captured.
During the concert it made me reflect on cosmic energy. How it can expand our minds and it can travel millions of years in a few moments.
It did take me back in time to mythology and then into the future of this amazing virtual world of SL.
It is the image like with music that connects us automatically to the image of music.
SL and clubs like the Sharks Tank open our minds to where our imaginations take us. We connect to the energy of science, technology and the universe is drawing these forces energetically into our bodies, transmitting frequencies and vibrations of space and music.
Science has proven that the mind interacts with these vibrations.
Mythology does seem to tie trandeperently into the realms of SL.

Shopping, Learning & Fun- Home Of RezzMe Technologies (The Creators of the Lucky Money Chair)Patnad and Foot welcomed all of Alpha Crew and SpaceJunky to the opening of this amazing sim.Looking round they have really put a lot of thought and energy into there sim. Avies can learn, create and sellthere products in the simwide mall surrounded by the Rezz Me Sandbox with cheap rentals to maximize your return.Patnad and Foot help people with building and scripting in SL and they have a SL Builders Guild which is availalable for your builder for hire tag,There is also Lucky Money Chairs and LMCHUD to find free $L as well as network billboards and advertises kiosks,SpaceJunky have an amazing poster which was designed by RezzMe Technologies.RezzMe have done some work for SpaceJunky and designed a kiosk and poster which can be seen at SpaceJunky Island. Valentines Day show with SpaceJunky SL

Having the show at Dilos Island on Valentines Day got me thinking of the history of Valentines Day how it came about and the tradition it continues today RL and Sl.St Valentines Day as we know it today contains both vestiges of Christian & Roman traditions. Today the Catholic Church recognizes 3 saints named Valentine and Valentinus all of whom were martyred.One legend suggests that Valentine was a priest who served during the 3rd century in Rome. When Emperor Claudius 11 decided that single men made better soldiers than with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men. Valentine thought this was in just and defied Claudius and continued to perform marriage for young lovers in secret, when these actions were discovered he was put to death. Another legend was Valentine sent the Valentine greeting to himself while in prison and fell in love with a young girl whom may have been the jailors daughter. Before his depth it is alleged that he wrote a letter, which signed from your Valentine. Music is a big part of Valentines Day, and friends are as well if you dont have a special Valentine. A big thankyou to Zolleecx and his staff for hosting this beatiful event, bringing together everyone on this special day.Love could be felt in the air, not only love for a certain connection, but for everyone to get together and convey this at Dilos Island Concert. It bought together people whom were alone, as well as friends, partners and lovers.The Island was an array of cupids and hearts, and beatiful energy. How does one describe what one feels during the SpaceJunky concert.Mere words are seldom adequate to describe feelings in love, but it is the joy, the passion and soul they both convey and intertwine. This could be felt with SpaceJunky performing, especially most songs are of the cosmic connections which bind us together, this can be felt through music. Music and love are within each of us, sometimes it just needs to be expressed and unleashed. The cosmic connections we feel are expressed in music. Sometimes we can be so far away yet so close to someone.
